I love any field trip with one of my boys and Logan's first field trip of Kindergarten was to Mitcham Farm just down the road from our home. They had all sorts of fall festival fun with a cow train, tunnel slide, corn maze, petting zoo, corn shucking, hay ride, and more. Any day with my baby is a good day!

fernbank field tripping
Connor's 2nd grade field trip to Fernbank was really fun. For whatever reasons, he did not feel like following around with any friends, mainly because he wanted to be free to do his own thing. so it was just the two of us exploring together.
We took a mile long walk on the wooded trail, checked out the fun new tree house ropes course playground, and played with lots of illusions and experiments. Mostly I just enjoyed the time with just Connor which hardly ever happens.

covington square field trippin'
May is the month of everything! Baseball, field trips, field days, awards days, end of season, end of school events, and I for one, whole enjoying every minute, am slap wore out!
Logan's preschool took another fun walking fieldtrip to the square but this time around they visited four different locations.
First up was Wild Art where they painted an original piece. Next was McKibben music where they learned about notes on different instruments. Then to the Square for a picnic, back to Wild Art for an art talk about different medians, and then last but not least, to Scoops!
Such a fun fun day with these almost Kindergartners!

4th grade field trip
In February--yes I know I'm super behind on this blog--I was able to go to the Georgia Aquarium with Micah on his school fieldtrip. Going on fieldtrips is one thing I dreamed about, literally, when I had my babies. I love making memories with them by going on these adventures. Yes we go to the same places on our own as a family but seeing them relate to their friends in these environments is a totally different experience.
The Georgia Aquarium is a fun one just because there are so many creatures you would never have the chance to see and you can see them SO UP CLOSE! Watching 4th grade boys who at times try to act super cool revert back to being little kids as they watch tiny fish and GIANT whales swim by is such a fun thing to see, even better than the fish themselves.
