For our anniversary gift Zach replaced his Kayak that met a sad fate along a flooded river and bought another one for me. Since our anniversary fell on a Sunday and since we had gone out together the night before and since our church currently meets in the late afternoon, we took the boys on a short excursion on the Yellow River to test them out.
We had a fun two hours at the river. We each took turns riding in the kayaks. Micah can totally handle one all by himself. Connor was the only one brave enough to jump off the tree into the river. Logan after taking playing in the dirt and sitting in the kayak for a mili second just sat on my lap and snacks while the others went down stream. Unfortuantely we were cut short by a thunderstorm but are looking forward to taking them out again!
