Going on field trips with my boys is definitely one of my favorite things. It's always a treat to be with them alone and see them relating to their friends without a brother around.
This year the first graders went to Zoo Atlanta, a place I get to go with Logan often and Micah and Connor only occasionally. Connor enjoyed helping be a tour guide for our little group since he had been several times. It was a very fun few hours walking around with two buddies in his class and another mom.
Highlights of this trip were...
*being with Connor and his friends
*watching the giraffe pee
*seeing the huge turtles eating their lunch
*getting to know another mom better
*the African wind tunnel
