Day 6: Shrinky Dink ornaments and decorating the playroom Christmas tree
This was our first experience with Shrinky Dinks and we loved them!
Day 7: Opening their Christmas boxes from Mimi and Papa
My mom puts together a Christmas box for the boys each year that include their new Christmas jammies, a movie or book, hot chocolate, candy, and a Christmas mug. This is another highly anticipated tradition for this fellas!
Day 8: Inaugural Gingerbread decorating party with my Friday morning bible study friends and all of our kiddos.
This was SO MUCH FUN! There was a decent amount of prep for me but the icing and graham crackers worked how they were supposed to so it all went pretty quickly. Everyone brought different candy to decorate with and we put it out in the middle of the table and let the kids have at it (with a little supervision and help, ok with lots of supervision and help!)
I plan on making this a yearly thing!
Day 9: local Behold the Lamb of God concert at RCC
Zach helped put together and lead a local concert of Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb of God. They have done this locally for three years and this was the best yet! Two of our dear friends came in as special guests to help sing and seeing them and Zach up on stage together again definitely made me misty eyed. I love this show and music so much. It is a staple in our Christmas season!
Day 10: Family Christmas movie night viewing of Home Alone
