savannah day 3

The weather on Saturday was totally worth the dreariness on Thursday and Friday morning.  It was GORGEOUS and we wanted to squeeze in as much outdoor stuff as we could.

We started with breakfast and then went down to River Street to take the ferry boat on it's full run for a little free boat ride.  M, C and L played in the sand boat until it was time to catch the real boat.

Then Zach took them to "see" the fountain at City Market while I went into a couple of antique stores.  However the seeing didn't last long.

Back to the hotel ten minutes before check out to change clothes, eat some pbjs for lunch and throw everything in suitcases and load up the car so we could head to Tybee Island for a couple hours before heading home.  This was Logan's first time at the beach and he loved it.  He walked and squished his toes in the sand and dug in the sand and threw sand and jumped in the water and thought it was amazing.

We spent about 2 hours there and then broke our children's hearts by telling them it was time to go.  The drive home was not my favorite :(  but we survived it.  Another successful family vacation in the books!
