YES!! We got to the Ryman again this year! For the past 5 years Zach and I have gone and seen Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb of God. For the past 4 years we've gone with Steph and Justin and for the past three years we've planned to see it in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium. Last year, due to two very little boys and tricky travel arrangements, we had to sell our tickets but not this time baby!!
Our 2nd visit to Nashville was in a word AMAZING! Though the whole trip lasted a grand total of 28 hours it was well worth it. For any of you who have heard the CD or seen the live show you know that describing Behold the Lamb is somewhat difficult. You just can't describe the story of Jesus put to music, played by gifted musicians whose love of God just oozes on to their instruments with words, you must describe it with your heart. Being in that room surrounded by so many sounds that reach into your heart and help you feel the glory of God's amazing gift to this world is just about one of the best things ever. Seriously. No. Words. can do it justice.
The only negative thing is that it goes to fast! You are so excited for each song to start but sad as well because it's just one song closer to the end. I'm not sure for how long will be able to make the trip up there due to our boys getting older and Micah starting real school in a year and a half. But, hopefully for as long as it goes on we will make our annual trip to bask in the glory revealed through this night!

During intermission Steph and I got a picture with Bebo. Well sort of ;)
If you've never heard of Andrew Peterson or Behold the Lamb of God. Please take a peek. I promise you won't be sorry!
