zoo trip

We took our first trip to the zoo since school started sans Micah which was sad for me but his brothers didn't seem to notice.  Our friend Cathi and her youngest son Idan joined us for our visit and we had a great time.  The weather was gorgeously cool and breezy so the animals were actually out and about.  All the boys seemed to have a good time and listening to the two of those little independent spirits was very entertaining. 

   During the train ride I got a picture of me and Connor and Logan.  

After looking at them all I could think was...

There's no earthly way of knowing

Which direction we are going

There's no knowing where we're rowing

Or which way the river's flowing

Is it raining, is it snowing

Is a hurricane a-blowing

Not a speck of light is showing

So the danger must be growing

Are the fires of Hell a-glowing

Is the grisly reaper mowing

Yes, the danger must be growing

For the rowers keep on rowing

And they're certainly not showing

Any signs that they are slowing
